Ultrasound Preparation:
Pelvic/Pelvic-Transvaginal, Obstetric,Kidney (Renal) Prostate: Drink 32 ounces of water one hour prior to exam.
Do NOT empty your bladder prior, your bladder MUST be full at the time of your exam or this may result in rescheduling.
Abdominal and Gallbladder: Do NOT eat or drink after midnight the night prior to your exam. You may eat after your exam is completed.
No preparation for the following exams:
Transvaginal only
Vascular
Carotid
Breast
Soft Tissue
Thyroid
Inguinal
Testicular
